Steak and Cheese Calzone

This calzone was perfect for a snowy night dinner!  Extremely easy to make, and there are so many different flavor options!  Note:  This recipe is only for one calzone!

Ingredients
Ground beef
1/2 white onion
1/2 green pepper
Shredded Parmesan cheese
1 Pillsbury pizza dough
Garlic powder to taste
Salt to taste

1. Cut the onion and the green pepper into relatively large pieces.
2. Cook the beef in a pan on the stove top.
3. When the beef is mostly cooked, add the onion and pepper in with the beef, and let them cook in the beef juices til both are soft and the onion is slightly brown.
4. On a lightly greased baking sheet, roll out the pizza dough, and spread it out until it is as large (but still in a rectangle) as it can without having holes.
5. In the middle of the dough, place the beef and onion/pepper combo.  Sprinkle garlic powder to taste on top.
6. Top with cheese.  Use as much or as little as you like (or have!)
7. On each long-side of the dough, cut multiple even strips with kitchen scissors.
8. One at a time, take a strip and layer it across the insides of your calzone, pressing the strip into the opposite side.  Switch between sides, so that you're creating a lattice pattern.
9. Now that your calzone is covered, sprinkle more garlic powder and salt on the top.
10. Bake calzone in oven at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

That's it-30 minutes for a delicious meal!  Make one with your favorite pizza toppings, anything you have leftover in the kitchen, or replicate one of your favorites from a restaurant!
