Grandma Collette's Chicken and Noodles

This is one of our grandma's recipes.  We make this whenever we feel sick or homesick, and it always reminds us of our childhood!

Ingredients
Boneless chicken breasts
Cornflake crumbs
Wide egg noodles
1 egg
1 tablespoon butter
Olive oil
Milk

1. Cut all of the chicken breasts in half, so that they are cut thin.
2. Whisk together the egg and a splash of milk in a small bowl.  Pour some cornflake crumbs on a separate plate.
3. Heat some olive oil in a frying pan.
4. Dip the chicken in the egg mixture, and wipe off excess.  Dredge chicken through cornflake crumbs, completely coating the chicken on both sides.
5. Place chicken in frying pan and cook.  5-6 minutes on each side.
6. At the same time, cook the egg noodles.  Drain.
7. Melt the butter, and mix with leftover cornflake crumbs.  Toss these crumbs with the cooked pasta.
8. Plate the pasta, and place the chicken on top of the pasta.

We seriously love this meal, especially with some applesauce on the side!  It is a truly delicious, and simple, meal!
