Hard Apple Cider

This is a necessary drink for those chilly fall nights!  The original recipe came from Martha Stewart, but, as always, we changed most of the ingredients and made it our own and were very happy with the results!  This is a very individualized recipe, and the measurements aren't exact because we just poured!
Ingredients
1 container apple cider
2 cups dark rum
About 1/2 bottle red wine
About 2 tablespoons maple syrup
About 1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 apple (sliced crosswise)
1 orange (sliced crosswise)
1. In a large pot combine all ingredients and stir together.  Bring to a boil over high heat.
2. Reduce heat to a simmer, and cook for 5 minutes.
3. Keep drink warm over low heat.
4. Transfer drink to a punch bowl and enjoy!
This drink is super easy to make, super loose with ingredients and measurements, and super yummy!  A great way to keep warm for the chilly fall nights!
