Garlic Lime Chicken

This chicken had such amazing flavor!  The original recipe came from Mary's friend Tara and her awesome food blog.  Check out original recipe here. We changed a few spices, so our version wasn't as spicy as Tara's, but it was amazing!

Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
2 teaspoons garlic powder
3 tablespoons lime juice
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, thyme, parsley, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.
2. Dredge chicken breasts through the mixture, coating each one generously.
3. Heat butter and olive oil in frying pan in a large skillet over medium heat.  Cook chicken until golden-brown (about 6 minutes on each side).
4. Sprinkle lime juice and 2 teaspoons garlic powder over chicken.  Cook chicken for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, to evenly coat chicken with sauce and spices.
The flavor in this chicken was amazing and we will definitely be making this recipe again!  We served the chicken with caramelized pineapple slices to make a delicious and filling meal!
