Easter Trifle

Easter Trifle
This delicious dessert is simple to make and makes a b-e-a-uuuuuutiful decoration!

Ingredients
1 package of Oreos
8 oz Cool Whip
1 package of pudding

1. Make the pudding mix! We used a packet of pistachio pudding because we wanted it green initially. Use the instructions on the packet to make the pudding and then stir in the 8 oz of coolwhip. It turned the color of the pudding REALLY light so we added some blue food dye to get a cool blue-green color.
2. Crush the Oreos!!!!!!! We found the best way to do this was to put the Oreos in a wide open cup and use the flat butt end of a spoon to get them into tiny bits.
3. Fill a trifle bowl with an inch and a half layer of Oreos, then half the mixture of pudding, another layer of Oreos, another layer of pudding, a final layer of Oreos. Then we lined the top with jelly beans to make it more Easter-y.

This Easter Trifle was like a fancy version of the "dirt" dessert, without worms. It was a huge hit at our Easter brunch party!

Happy Easter!
