M&C's Tropical Sangria

M&C's Tropical Sangria

Ingredients
1 750 mL bottle of white wine
1 cup of orange liqueur
9 cups of assorted fruit
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 cups simple syrup (1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar)
A handful of fresh mint leaves

1. Peel and cut all of the fruit.  Use tropical fruits to your liking.  We used cantaloupe, mango, papaya, kiwi, pineapple, green apples, apricots, and peaches.  Put all fruit in a large bowl.
2. Add mint leaves to the bowl.
3. Press against the fruit with a wooden spoon to get all of the juices out.
4. Add the wine, orange liqueur, and lemon juice.
5. Refrigerate.  We left ours in the fridge overnight, but it only needs an hour.

This was quick and easy to make, a perfect summer drink!  Experiment with your own favorite tropical fruits.  If you use a pitcher to serve the sangria, we suggest scooping out some of the fruit and all of the mint!
