Fried Chicken Curry

Fried Chicken Curry
This was made on one of those nights where we were almost out of food, and typed all of our random ingredients into a website and ended up with this awesome dish!  We looked at the recipe-and then changed almost everything about it
Ingredients
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast
1 cup plain yogurt
3 tablespoons lemon juice
4 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup flour
1. Cut the chicken breasts into 1 inch strips.  We ended up slicing the chicken breasts in half first because our's were pretty thick.
2. Combine the yogurt, lemon juice, curry powder, salt, and garlic powder in a bowl.  Pour about 3/4 of the entire mixture into a separate bowl, and save it for later.
3. Place the chicken strips in the first bowl, with the remaining sauce. Make sure all of the chicken is covered by the sauceCover and place in the refrigerator.  Let the chicken marinate in the bowl overnight, or for at least 5 hours (preferably 8).
4. In another bowl, combine the bread crumbs and flour.  Dredge the marinated chicken through this mixture.
5. Melt in the butter in a frying pan over medium-low heat.  Add the chicken to the pan.  Throw away the remaining sauce.  Cook the chicken for about 15 minutes, or until the juices run clear.
6. Heat up the sauce you put aside in the microwave for just a few seconds.  Pour the sauce on top of the chicken and serve!
This chicken was so yummy!  A little spicy, but also a little cool with the yogurt.  We fried some mixed veggies in oil to serve with the chicken, and poured the sauce on top of that too.  We will definitely be adding this recipe to our regular menu!
