M&C's White Pizza

White Pizza
This recipe was taken from a few different ones we found online. We chose our favorite parts of each and edited based on what we already had around the house. So here is Mary and Caitlin's version of the White Pizza!

Ingredients
Pillsbury pizza dough
Canola oil
Minced garlic
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella cheese
Part-skim Ricotta cheese
Thyme
Salt, White pepper

1. In a small pan at medium temperature, cook the minced garlic in the canola oil for about 10 minutes. The garlic should brown a little. You'll know it's ready when it smells yummy :)
2. Brush the pizza pan with your new garlic sauce. (don't use it all yet!)
3. Spread the dough..in a pizza shape...curl up the edges so you have a nice fluffy crust. Brush the garlic sauce on the top of the pizza and especially on the crust.
4. Sprinkle about 1 cup of mozzarella cheese to cover the whole pizza.
5. Put about 6 spoonful dollops of the part-skim ricotta cheese spread out around the pizza. Flatten them down a little. They will melt and spread but not completely if you don't flatten it. That's why ours turned out a little ugly.
6. Sprinkle the pizza with thyme, salt, and white pepper for flavor
7. Preheat oven to 400ºF and bake for 25 minutes

This came out SO yummy! Other things you can do with it for fun: when it's out of the oven slice a tomato and put it one on top of each slice. Or you can bake in chicken pieces on top of the pizza before it is cooked.

This recipe made 6 small slices. It was quick and easy and is perfect for a snack with friends or game day appetizer!
The whole fam loved this one! Especially the garlicky crust!

UPDATE!

Tried making this again and it looks much prettier!! Decided to do a square shape this time because that's what Pillsbury rolls out to. It was much easier :)
